The Senior Systems Administrator ensures availability of Windows Server running in Azure & AWS, while overseeing the installation, maintenance, upgrade, and patching of the systems. Analyzes server performance and proactively addresses issues. Confirms continuity of systems and cloud environments are running optimally. Manage enterprise wide O365, Azure and AWS environments.

• Manage and maintain Azure, O365 and AWS environments
• Install/maintain/upgrade/patch Windows Server 2016/2022
• Proactively resolves potential issues on Windows Server
• Deploy and manage Windows servers running in Azure\AWS.
• Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve AD, email, O365 and server issues quickly.
• Strong experience managing Microsoft enterprise products, including O365, Active Directory, Exchange, and other E5 offerings, both on prem and in the Azure Cloud.
• Create change control processes and documentation for Windows, Azure and AWS solutions.
• Be the technical authority and mentor junior team members in Azure, Server, Email and cloud administration.

• Bachelor’s degree: 7 years experience in a Systems Administration role, without a degree: 10 years experience in a Systems Administration role
• In-depth, hands-on experience in the following areas:
  • Azure
  • Exchange and all O365 apps.
  • AWS
  • Windows Server 2016/2022 administration
  • Active Directory, DHCP, DNS
  • PowerShell
  • Terraform
• Applicable experience includes, but is not limited to, computer and networking infrastructure, operating systems, application software development, project management, regulatory compliance

  Certifications (Preferred):

  • Current MCSE (Infrastructure or Cloud Platform)
  • Azure
  • AWS

   

   

• Computer Skills (basic, knowledgeable, advanced):

  • Terraform or similar infrastructure as code solution
  • PowerShell
