Overview

The Regional Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients or accounts within the Hi-tech client base. This role is responsible for growing and managing an account base and accountable to directly identify and initiate development, cross-sell, and up-sell efforts and to directly identify and initiate business development opportunities. 

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients within your portfolio to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services within your client portfolio. Identify, initiate and engage with clients that provide sustained and profitable revenue streams across multiple services.
  • Account Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans tailored to the needs of your client portfolio.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by your clients promptly and effectively. Support and proactively consult existing customers as well as further develop the professional cooperation.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Monitor account performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to managing your portfolio. Support sales and pricing in the preparation of offers, fee calculations and pricing negotiations. Ensure regular review meetings take place with your clients and share data with key stakeholders and management.
  • Implementation: Support operational team with the implementation of new customers and support in the integration of clients after mergers or acquisitions.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Several years of experience in account management or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry and the specific needs of special accounts.
  • IT: Strong PC skills (Windows, Microsoft Office applications) preferred
  • Language skills: Fluent oral and written English is a must, Dutch is beneficial
  • competitive and confident personality with strongly developed persuasive and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think and respond quickly to sales and service issues.
  • Self-motivated individual experienced in making and implementing decision.
